Do you eat raw beets? Many people in my classes have never tried them. The secret is to cut them very fine and have a fabulous salad dressing. This participant is helping me make one of Dr. Fuhman’s salad dressings of pasta sauce, peanut butter and balsamic fig vinegar. It might sound like a strange combination, but I haven’t heard of one person not loving it. If you’re looking to get kids (or adults) to eat more veggies, this is a great sauce to use in your wraps. All it takes is a jar and a fork to mix it with. Super easy and a unique flavor that will wake up your tastebuds.
The people who join together in the groups always seem to have something in common. One of the guys in the back announced that Peru just banned all GMO from their country. Another gal in the front said, “I’m from Peru!”
We do a two minute meditation to start off the class. One of the participants said she’s used to doing a meditation before she goes to bed and hadn’t thought of doing a meditation before eating and how helpful it would be for her own well-being.
We learn a lot from each other. It’s one thing to do a lot of research online and another to be in a group and share ideas with each other. In my online courses, even though people may be from all over the world, we hook up with friendly, accountability buddies and the magic connections begin. If you’d like to join us, the next one begins the first day of summer on June 2o, 2013. More information can be found at www.ElementalCuisine.com
