You have a cause you feel strongly about. Being able to speak from your heart sets you free and changes the world. But breaking free from the tribal mindset takes courage, strength and determination.
.) Know your values. Ralph Waldo Emerson said, “The most difficult thing is to be yourself in a world that is constantly trying to make you something else. Find your passion and share it with others.
.) Get control of your mind. Don’t allow yourself to get sucked into negativity. Drop mindless TV. If you find yourself being drawn into a reactive state, turn it into proactive activity toward reaching your goal.
.) Avoid imposing your rules on others. Present your ideas, ask for what you want, then respect the other person’s ability to decide.
.) Take action when you’re intuitively drawn to it. Dropping the desire for other’s approval or the need to control, your life becomes effortless. The actions you take are joyful and flowing.
.) Influential speakers are comfortable in their own skin. How easy is it for you to be in silence? Are you able to breathe in between thoughts? Some of the most profound insights come and decisions are made in the ‘gap’.
.) Be bold, trust in your self and go all the way. Chances are if you are intuitively drawn to it and feel good when pursuing it, it will help a lot of others as well.
.) Know the difference between dogma and guiding principles. Observe nature. What naturally wants to happen? Outdated beliefs hold us back from progress in a healthy direction. Going with the flow is nature’s way of unfolding into growth.
.) Self discipline is the key to freedom. Stuart Wilde every day got up at 3 in the morning to walk in the woods for years. It gave him the willpower to write over a dozen books and become a world famous speaker.
.) Drop anything that isn’t important to you. Take an inventory of your life and ask yourself what you might drop.
.) Analyze the long term consequences, does it hurt anyone else? Will your actions make you stronger or weaker? Align with your integrity to strengthen your creative ability.
