Yes, it’s true! I’m busting myself…
While I teach people to get off packaged food and convenience foods, I’m as guilty as anyone. Sometimes I just need to get out of my house, see a friendly face and have some warm food.
So once in a while I head over to Taco Time (one of the few restaurants in this small town of Sequim, WA) and order up some beans and rice. I take a few chopped up organic veggies and sprouts from my fridge to top it off.
I transform a $1.62 meal into this gourmet meal below. In less than 2 minutes with a little preplanning I get protein, warmth and a high percentage of raw, enzyme rich veggies.
Any vegetable seems to work. I take whatever I have in my fridge and haven’t been disappointed yet. This salad included purple cauliflower, avocado, celery, orange pepper and broccoli sprouts.
